Week 26 (5-20-19)  New companion & pictures

Hey There!

These past few weeks were great!

I am loving my new companion, Sister Gnoatto. She has been helping me a ton learn the language especially since she is Brazilian! She is close to dying, (not literally), but in her mission as this is her second to last transfer in the mission.  This past week it had been getting a lot colder here, I think I might need to buy a jacket LOL. It rained a lot on Friday, but tudo bem!

Haha this past week we were starting to teach some people, and another person entered the house, washed his hands-which I heard, so I invited him in to listen to what we were wanting to teach. He greeted us, shaking our hands, and me... oh dear... I said "Did you just pee??"  HAHAHAHAHA!! TUDO MUNDO was laughing!! He just sat down and didn't look up after I said that... it was hilarious!!

Hope you all had a great Mother's Day!  Sorry I wasn't able to send a letter this past week.

This past week we ate LOTS of pancakes in our house because I am American and make pancakes. I also made syrup and it was AWESOME!! Made me miss home a little bit...
We also had an activity with the RS and ate BBQ, it was AMAZING!!!  I also heard that a new Brazilian restaurant is opening soon at home, so I am STOKED about that. Everyone should eat there and then tell me how it is!

We are having zone conference this week, the last for President and Sister Sholtz, so  I am sad about that, but it should be amazing! This past conference Sister Sholtz shared a music video with us, but I keep forgetting to share it with you guys. It's called Forever by Nathan Pacheco. It's really beautiful!

Tonight we are having a family night we some members, probably one of my favorite things to do with members to really help strengthen their faith.  Don't have much time left, but want to send pictures,

Oh also-yeah 6 months tomorrow!!!!!!! In about a year I'll be home-CRAZY!!! I don't think I am prepared at all for that.

Any-who, love you all and thanks again for your support
kisses!!

PS: I ate a SUPER SPICY sauce... phew!
I am still alive!

Week 25 (5-13-19)  No Update Today

Sister Pierce wanted us to express her love and appreciation for everyone. She was having problems with the computer again today and was only able to call us for a  few minutes. She didn’t have time to email or send pictures, she will try again next week. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

With Love from Brazil,

Sister Pierce

Week 24 (5-6-19)  Transfers Today

Hey Family!

Great to hear from you too! My new companion is Sister Gnoatto, she is a Brazilian, I had her as my other STL in my other area. I am hoping this next transfer is great! I think my Portuguese will continue to grow especially since she doesn't speak English. But all should be well!

I am glad many of you liked the video, I didn't watch it before I sent it lol.

Yesterday we had a baptism, whoo hoo!! His name is Antonio Carlos, it was super awesome!! He's probably about 48, I lead the music, and us sisters sang, it was super! I also am starting an English class starting Thursday, wish me luck! I don't have much time so ill include pictures below.

Love you all!!

We were teaching Dara and her family a lesson, we had

had no choice except to climb over to get out.

After we three Sisters climbed out, he returned with
the key *face palm* Haha tudo bem, LOL
