Week 22 (4-22-19)  He is Risen !!!

Hey Family!

 

So this week was good, but had it's challenges. Sister Carvelho didn't work in the field because of the problems with her knee but yesterday in church she shared her testimony. She shared that you "Don't have to have a name tag or serve for 18 or 24 months to be a Missionary", which is really true. This past week I worked a lot in a trio and found some new people to teach. 

 

We also had interviews with President Sholtz and he shared that though I felt I wasn't making the progress I wanted with the Portuguese language to remember how far I have come in 5 months. A talk I was reading spoke about "When we compare ourselves to others we rob ourselves of blessings and joy."

I'm sorry I wasn't able to send pictures this week. I couldn't get them to work on the computer, but hopefully next week I can send some photos. Easter (Pascoa) was super great yesterday. I spoke in church, not super well, but it was my first talk in the field! I'm sure my next talk will be better.
