Week 63  (02/03/20) No Customs Fees & Emotional Roller Coaster !!! J

Hey Dad!

I got the Alpha smart you sent me! Thank you for sending it, I love it and I’m so excited to use it! Guess how much I had to pay for custom fees to receive it? Give up? It was “ZERO”, which translates to no custom fees, I didn’t have pay the  Government any money for this package! Whoo Hoooo!!  I about fell out of my shoes when I received a message from the mission office saying I had a big box to pick up and didn’t have to pay any fees. I don’t know if I’ll ever understand the customs system here. The little package mom send my vitamins in? I had to pay $130 before I can get them. I just paid for the fees today; hopefully I’ll get them within the next couple of weeks.

Well this past week was hard, like, I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s like an emotional roller coaster. Some days are good and others aren’t. Thanks for sharing my email, that’s funny what Charla said. I’ve been thinking about them a lot. Hope they are doing well.

Well any new things going on with you guys? I’m looking at the videos now that you sent me! Oh my goodness! That is SOOOOO FUNNY. Mom, I’m not sure how you’re going to be able to practice massages. You’ll have to lock Granby up or something. The whole thing about the video was funny. Mom trying to cover dad up with one arm, Granby pulling the covers off, Dad, saying "its hard to relax in this freezing cold sheet”,  Grandma Paulette recording the whole thing,  HAHAHAHHAHA Oh my goodness. I was just  dying of laughter! It was so funny! Glad to see mom is doing better, those stitches are pretty gnarly. What else happened this week?

The people we are teaching are awesome! We had 6 people at church yesterday! Oh my goodness, it was awesome. And we are preparing 3 people for baptism for this Saturday, Which I am SOOOOOOO EXCITED. We are going to fast again this week, and if you guys want to fast as well, it would be awesome. But you don’t need to if you don’t want, or can't. Their names are Camilly, Mariah, Cristina. Camilly and Mariah are sisters, and Cristina is an older lady that has been taught by the missionaries for 6 Years. Truly a miracle!

I love you lots, sending you my love from Brasil,

Sister Pierce
